Allergen information is clearly labelled on every product. However, we prepare our meals in a kitchen that handles egg, crustaceans, dairy, peanuts, and soya, so we advise caution for individuals with severe allergies.

Storage & Cooking Guidelines

To ensure the best experience with our ready-to-fry chops:

* Keep products frozen at -18°C or below.
* Do not refreeze once defrosted.
* Always follow the instructions on each package for cooking time and temperature.

This food has been packed and insulated to maintain a frozen condition throughout delivery.

Please, store immediately in the freezer upon received.

Our packaging and insulation have been tested to keep the products below 8°C during delivery to maintain food safety.

Our items are prepped fresh and frozen immediately to lock in flavour and preserve quality.

Which also include platters REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

To enjoy your platter at its best, please follow the steps below:

1. Preheat your oven at 180°C (or Gas Mark 4) for 15 minutes.
2. Turn the oven off after 15 minutes, this is to create a warm environment.
3. Place your platter in the oven (with the packaging lid removed if necessary) for 10–15 minutes to gently warm it through.
4. Do not use a microwave, as this may affect the texture and quality of your smallchops.

This method helps bring your meal back to life, ensuring it tastes just as fresh and delicious as when it left our kitchen.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns once an order has been delivered. However, if your order arrives damaged, incomplete or with any quality concerns, please reach out to us within 24 hours of receiving it, and we’ll be happy to resolve the issue. 

Delivery Policy

Orders are dispatched frozen with insulated packaging and ice packs to maintain low temperatures during transit. We strongly advise that someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address. Lydia’s Kitchen is not liable for missed deliveries where no one was available to receive or store the product appropriately.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least *24 hours* before dispatch. Once your order has been prepped or shipped, we cannot cancel or refund.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

* Carefully read ingredient lists and allergen advice.
* Store items as directed upon receipt.
* Follow cooking instructions to ensure food safety and optimal taste.

 

Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Lydia’s Kitchen, you agree to the following:

* *Products:* All items are handmade in a certified kitchen, prepared under strict hygiene standards. Due to the nature of our offerings, slight variations in size, shape, or spice levels may occur.
Orders: Orders must be placed in advance. Full payment is required before dispatch.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before dispatch for 80% refund. (If we are catering for your events, 2 weeks notice for cancellation is required. If not, your 80% refund is not guaranteed). After this period, refunds may not be guaranteed.
Allergens: Ingredients are listed on packaging. It is your responsibility to read them carefully. Our kitchen handles common allergens including *egg, crustaceans, dairy, peanuts, and soya.
Usage: Our ready to fry product must be stored according to instructions on the label to maintain quality and safety.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

* We do not accept returns of food items.
* If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or unsafe to consume, please notify us within *12 hours* of delivery with a photo and brief description.
* Refunds or replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness and customer satisfaction.
